Outsoursing
New opportunities in logistics?
The economic crisis which has affected the whole world occupies the minds of many entrepreneurs, also in Poland. On the outsourcing market its consequences are felt first by the companies in the transport industry.
The sings of slowing down in business were noticed and discussed by the representatives of companies providing transport and logistic services. According to them the situation will probably result in even a greater specification in this section of outsourcing.
On the other hand, many of the outsourcing providers see in the crisis a chance for a rapid development of their businesses. They suppose that for many companies and corporations looking for a partner outside may be a way of optimizing their activity. Polish officials responsible for attracting foreign investors to our country really count on that. Highly qualified staff, conditions favourable to doing business and relatively low labour costs may be an incentive to locate the centres of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) in Poland.
The financial section which was affected by the crisis first can be buoyed up by outsourcing.
It may be especially beneficial for those banks which depend for their growth on high employment. In the present situation where it is necessary to boost operating efficiency without increasing the number of workers reorganization is inevitable, which in turn leads to outsourcing.
In this number we also show the example of Ailor Bank which has relied on cooperation with service providers from the very beginning and which has put this successfully into practice. It would not have been possible for this bank to build quickly and efficiently a structure necessary to operate on the Polish market if it had not used help from partners outside.
